How brands took advantage of the Super Bowl blackout

The best advertising campaigns are born out of sheer intuition and good instincts. When last Sunday a 34-minute blackout interrupted the Super Bowl, which was being played at the Mercedes-Benz Dome in New Orleans, some brands decided to take advantage of the unexpected event.


With millions of people watching the big game and taking to social media to talk about it, six brands were able to be agile and fast in responding to the blackout by posting event-related promotional messages on Twitter.
